Our R&D department is located in the town of Langenfeld, which lies between Cologne and Düsseldorf. It is housed in a modern office and laboratory building with state-of-the-art cGMP lab facilities and a tremendous amount of analytical lab space. All necessary in-vitro tests as well as all relevant analytical tests can be performed in-house. Clinical trial supplies can be manufactured and released at our R&D site as well. This helps us assure fast and targeted development.

In Hamburg, at tesa’s largest German manufacturing plant, is the site for pilot and large-scale manufacturing of patches and oral films. The new production site was installed in 2008 and started operations in early 2009. It works in compliance with cGMP standards and offers sufficient room for future expansion.
